This piece was produced by the tYhle collective.
The piece ICARUS addresses the theme of freedom and constraints.
A group of Czech and Slovak teenagers, accompanied by three artists:
Marie Gourdain, French choreographer and scenographer, Jaro Viňarský, Slovak dancer and Vacálav Kalivoda, Czech musician, reveal their feelings about the current times and becoming an adult.
This piece was created in parallel between the cities of Prague and Nitra, and is the result of a participatory process lasting more than two years. It is co-produced by the network
Be SpectACTIVe! in close collaboration with the TANEC PRAHA and Divadelná Nitra festivals.
Icarus is a participatory piece, reproducible with new groups of teenagers in the form of a four-day workshop concluded by a performance.
